Professor Gary Lee and the Sport Karate Museum Archives are proud to announce the creation of the Sport Karate Museum Budokai Yudansha Society, a group of exceptional martial artists who represent the values, ethics and martial quality indicative of its standards and protocols.

“As founder and president of the Sport Karate Museum Archives, I recognized that the role of any good leader, and that of any great organization, is to identify, appoint, and empower other key leaders who can then add their wisdom, guidance, and expertise to the Sport Karate Museum. After consultation with some highly influential individuals whom I trust and who have the long-term interest of our organization at heart, it has become clear to me we need to evolve and plan for our future so we can continue to serve our members at ever-higher levels. I am therefore excited to announce I have also formed an Advisory Board consisting of highly regarded senior Black Belt men and women who are also History Generals and Ambassadors within the Sports Karate Museum family.”- Professor Gary Lee 

These individuals will act as confidants to me personally, and to the organization itself. They will serve as an oversight board for identifying and honoring worthy Black Belt Instructors, School Owners, and Competitors, as well as recognizing and approving High Dan recognition under the “Sport Karate Museum Budokai Yudansha Society” Charter. There will be an updated page consisting of previously honored Yudansha by the Sport Karate Museum published grandfathering them into the new Yudansha records in the near future so visit this page for that announcement in the forthcoming months.
